Job Description

The Senior SEO Associate is responsible for driving organic search growth through strategic SEO practices. This role involves optimizing website content, conducting keyword research, analysing website performance, and implementing best SEO practices. The Senior SEO Associate will collaborate with various departments and develop strategies to improve search engine rankings and drive quality traffic to the website.

Key responsibilities

SEO Strategy Development: Create, implement, and manage comprehensive SEO strategies that align with overall business goals.

Keyword Research: Conduct in-depth keyword research to identify high-value keywords and opportunities for content optimization.

On-Page Optimization: Optimize web pages, blogs, and product pages for search engines, including meta tags, headers, alt tags, and content structure.

Technical SEO: Collaborate with the web development team to ensure proper technical SEO aspects, such as site architecture, crawlability, and site speed.

Off-Page SEO: Manage link-building strategies, partnerships, and outreach efforts to increase domain authority and organic search rankings.

Content Strategy: Work closely with content creators to ensure SEO best practices are followed during content development and align the content calendar with keyword research.

Answer Engine Optimization (AEO): Implement Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) strategies to ensure brand visibility in voice search, featured snippets, and AI-driven answer engines.

Generative Engine Optimization (GEO): Apply Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) techniques to position content as a trusted source for AI-generated summaries and conversational search platforms.

Analytics and Reporting: Use tools like Google Analytics, Search Console, and other SEO tools to track performance, monitor rankings, and identify growth opportunities.

Competitor Analysis: Regularly monitor competitors’ SEO efforts and adjust strategies to maintain a competitive edge.

Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing, development, and content teams to ensure all strategies are aligned and executed effectively.

SEO Audits: Conduct regular SEO audits to identify issues and recommend improvements for site performance.

Requirement

  • 6+ years’ experience in Search Engine Optimization (SEO), Off Page & Content writing
  • Knowledge of Link Building
  • Communication Skills
  • English reading/writing skills
  • Hands-on knowledge of Google Keyword Planner
  • SEMrush & Moz will be an added advantage

Preferred Qualifications
