Job Summary:

We’re seeking a Senior Magento Technical Lead to lead high-impact e-commerce projects, architect robust solutions, and mentor teams for B2B and B2C environments, with a balanced focus on hands-on coding and technical leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

Time Allocation: Dedicate at least 50% of time to hands-on coding and billable project work, and 50% to team leadership, technical strategy, and mentorship.

Technical Leadership: Guide teams in designing Magento solutions for B2B/B2C; ensure best practices via code reviews and maintain coding standards.

Hands-On Coding: Actively code complex Magento modules, troubleshoot issues, and assist developers to meet project deadlines.

Solution Architecture: Architect Magento/Adobe Commerce solutions for B2B (e.g., bulk pricing) and B2C (e.g., personalized shopping) using monolithic and headless architectures.

Strategic Direction: Translate client B2B/B2C requirements into actionable technical strategies aligned with business goals.

Proposal & Estimation: Collaborate with proposal team for accurate project scoping and timelines.

Custom Development: Oversee Magento modules/extensions for Adobe Marketplace; integrate with ERP, CRM, APIs.

Performance: Optimize caching (Varnish, Redis, Nginx) and resolve bottlenecks.
Security: Implement secure coding, audits, and compliance for B2B/B2C platforms.

Front-End: Lead responsive UI development with JavaScript (React, Vue.js), SASS/LESS.
QA Automation: Drive AI tools (MFTF, Selenium) for efficient B2B/B2C testing, championing AI adoption across workflows.

AI Advocacy: Proactively integrate AI tools for development, testing, and optimization; lead adoption to enhance efficiency (e.g., AI-driven code generation, predictive analytics).

Collaboration: Mentor developers, manage Git workflows, align with cross-functional teams, and train internal staff on Magento, Adobe Commerce, and AI tools.

Client Interaction: Engage clients for requirements, present solutions, ensure business alignment.

Proactivity & Trends: Stay ahead of industry trends (e.g., AI, headless commerce, PWA) to drive innovation and maintain competitive edge.

eCommerce Expertise: Manage complex B2B/B2C workflows in Magento/Adobe Commerce.

Requirement

• 10+ years as a Magento Developer, 4+ years in a lead/architect role.
• Expert in Magento 2.x, Adobe Commerce (modules, themes, optimization, Adobe Marketplace extensions), with deep expertise in monolithic and headless architecture.
• Proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript (jQuery, React, Vue.js), SASS/LESS, PHP, MySQL, REST, GraphQL.
• Experienced in Adobe Marketplace submissions, security best practices, Git, CI/CD.
• Skilled in AI-driven QA (MFTF, Selenium) and integrating AI tools for development/testing.
• Proven ability to code hands-on (50% of time), mentor developers, and enforce coding standards.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills; proactive in adopting trends.

Nice-to-Have

• Experience with Shopify, WooCommerce, BigCommerce, Scayle.
• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum.
• Magento or Adobe Commerce certifications.
