Job Description

eWay Corp is a leading provider of website design, Ecommerce, content management, and cloud infrastructure solutions to Public & Private Sector customers, in the United States. We are also an AWS Select Consulting Partner and offer cloud infrastructure services to our customers.

We are looking for a talented and experienced individual who can manage a team of cloud infrastructure engineers and support specialists to provide high quality service experience to our clients under 24x7x365 SLA agreements. The individual should be able to take 100% ownership of the team and ensure service availability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Linux/Windows server management in cloud.
  • Cloud architecture design & configuration management.
  • L1 and L2 support management.
  • Uptime, logging, service availability.
  • Incident management and root cause analysis.
  • Change management.
  • Cloud security compliance.
  • Cloud capacity planning and cost optimization.
  • Cloud disaster recovery and business continuity.
  • Ownership of team training, performance and certification.
  • Design and leverage best-in-class DevOps.

Technical Experience

  • 5 years of experience designing architectures on AWS.
  • 5 years of experience on Linux Platforms such as Ubuntu, RedHat, CentOS, etc.
  • Creating pricing estimates, including TCOs.
  • Creating solutions on AWS Services.
  • Experience with Containers (Docker/Kubernetes).
  • Network in Cloud, DNS, Load Balancing, Firewalls, Security.
  • Implementing Automation / Orchestration on AWS.
  • DevOps & CI/CD.
  • Experience with various backup & security strategies.
  • Managing service desk.
  • Managing IT infrastructure and inventory of all the IT assets.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to connect with customers and employees at varying levels of the organization.
  • Ability to operate independently and make decisions with little or no direct supervision.
  • Flexible and Agile.
  • Comfortable with collaboration, open communication, and reaching across countries and time zones.
  • Leadership & team management.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology or computer science is preferred.
  • AWS /cloud/Linux certification(s) preferred .
